Stephanie Carter graduated from the School of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers University with a Master's degree in Public Administration. While there, she served as the Assistant Technical Manger at the Joseph C. Cornwall Center. She helped train, maintain, and trouble shoot the WinCATI system for the ongoing BRFSS Project which helps to survey Rutgers-Newark residents anonymously on health related issues and polices. Stephanie understands the importance of team work and commitment from her days as the Orientation Workshop Leaders Coordinator where she was responsible for managing 30 student workers to prepare packets, scheduling of tours, and other daily task assigned related to orientating incoming freshmen students.
As an undergraduate at Rutgers Newark, Stephanie completed a double major in Criminal Justice and Sociology, while remaining active as a student leader on campus and in the community at large. Stephanie participated in projects like Habitat for Humanity where she went to New Orleans to help build homes for those affected by Hurricane Katrina. She is also a proud member of the College Leadership New Jersey (CLNJ) Class of 2005.
