2007 LNJGO fellows Ruddys Andrade, Stacey Harley, and Margaret O'Gorman introduce the class of 2008

The LNJGO is the alumni organization of Leadership New Jersey. Its purpose is to expand learning opportunities, strengthen relationships, and encourage civic engagement among its members to improve the quality of life in New Jersey.

The year-long seminar program only begins the Leadership New Jersey experience.

Graduates form coalitions to tackle statewide problems as a result of the insights, knowledge, skills, new associations and friendships they gain from Leadership.

They have become an important resource for the state, both as individuals and as a group. They join a statewide network involved in continuing efforts to make New Jersey a better place in which to live and to work.

The Leadership New Jersey Board of Trustees includes Leadership graduates in the coalitions it forms to address priority issues. Leadership alumni played key roles in the creation of the Invest in Children Coalition and in education reform initiatives. They serve on the Partnership's Task Force on Managing Diversity and helped organize the Governor's Summit on Diversity.

The Leadership New Jersey Graduate Organization coordinates their activities. Each year it bestows graduate awards on outstanding leaders, raises funds for scholarships for the program, and keeps graduates in touch with each other through social and professional activities. It sponsors an annual Washington seminar through which LNJ graduate fellows meet with the state's congressional delegation and explore national issues.
